Download Notedpad 1.2.0 for Mac
This is the official download for Notedpad, an independent native code editor for macOS. It is not affiliated with Apple, Notepad++, or any other editor. Choose Classic or System Theme.
Release date: 29 August 2026. Requires macOS 11 or later. Open the disk image and double-click Install Notedpad. If Notedpad is already installed, it is replaced in the Applications folder. Your documents and settings stay.
Notedpad (Classic)
Compact navy editor. Auto appearance stays Classic. This is the standard edition.
Notedpad System Theme
Same editor. On macOS 26 it follows Tahoe chrome; earlier macOS stays Classic. The Dock icon follows Light and Dark. This edition does not replace Classic.
Integrity
If macOS blocks the installer or the application on first launch, Control-click it and choose Open.
